Donald E. Banker Fellowship
The Donald E. Banker fellowship honors 1991-1992 International President Don Banker, who held that office in the first year of a Lions entry in the Rose Parade. As president he served as our goodwill ambassador, visiting more than 100 countries telling both religious and political leaders of our Lions legacy. PIP Banker was also the first international president to ride on a Lions float in the parade.

Garry Lozaun Fellowship Garry Lozaun Fellowship
Past District Governor Garry Lozaun is memorialized with this fellowship. It was PDG Lozaun who initiated the Fellowship program as one means of raising funds to finance the annual Rose Parade float entry. This Lion loved being part of the work of Lions Float Inc. from the time he joined the committee in 1995 until his death in 2008.

Wilt LeBlanc Fellowship
This fellowship is in memory of Past District Governor Wilt LeBlanc. PDG Leblanc was dedicated to the float project and diplayed great leadership skills in bringing it to fruition. He was deeply involved from the project's inception in 1991 until his death in 2002.

"Ride of Your Life" Package offered Again

What's in the Package?
How Does One Purchase It?

Lions Float, Inc. has three "Ride of Your Life" spots left out of four and four Out-walker Positions for Lions Clubs International Rose Float "Celebrating 100 Years of Service" in the 128th Tournament of Roses Parade January 2, 2017.

The "Ride of Your Life" positions are two sitting one on each side of the float with adult screening child with unit on the Vision block and the others are standing positions. The standing position are on the Environment and Feeding the Hungry blocks. The package includes up to three hotel nights, one ticket to the parade (for spouse or guest), a reception with the International President, a New Year's Eve breakfast with the Pasadena Host Lions, a tour of the float barn, and transportation to and from the parade. Cost is $7,500.

The package is available to anyone who wishes to ride on the float. To secure a seat, the purchaser must send a check made out to Lions Float, Inc., mailed to Norm MacKenzie, 1578 Palomar Drive, San Marcos, CA 92069. No reservations will be taken without payment. Should there be more requests than seats available, the packages will be allocated based on date of receipt of the check. It is recommended that checks and accompanying information be sent by registered mail, return receipt requested.

The Out-Walker positions are available to anyone who wishes to participate and can walk six miles at $1,000 each and includes a breakfast with Pasadena Host Lions, tour of the float barn and transportation to and from the parade. All riders and walkers must meet at the Doubletree Hotel at 6:00 a.m. on January 1st for transportation to the float for judging and 5:30 a.m. on January 2nd for transportation to the float staging area.

Persons who ride need to be agile enough to climb aboard. There may be some height and weight restrictions depending on the riding position.

Tickets for the Parade and Game (Deadline 9/24/2016)

Rose Parade and Rose Bowl tickets are offered to Lions Club members and their guests as a convenience. Tickets will be distributed at Float Concierge at Doubletree Hotel December 30, 31 and January 1st before International President's Reception 3-4:00 pm at hotel ballroom lobby.
